Six Executives, One Expansion Plan: Leadership Alignment with a Human Touch
A company operating in one of its country’s strategic sectors asked us to design a leadership programme for six key executives. The General Manager and the senior team had already decided to expand into neighbouring countries. The ambition was set; the practical question was different: how do we make sure these six leaders are aligned enough to act as one body once the expansion starts?
We built the programme around MindSonar, and much of what made it work came out of the conversations it opened.
Why they chose MindSonar
The client wanted something other than a personality questionnaire. MindSonar maps thinking styles together with Graves drives, and in a specific context rather than in general. For a leadership team, that means seeing three things at once: how each leader sees themselves in this particular situation, how they process information when the pressure is on, and what patterns sit behind their decisions.
Thinking styles are contextual. A leader who is meticulous during a budget review may be entirely different in a crisis meeting. For a team preparing to operate across borders, that distinction turned out to matter more than any trait description would have.
